He is a wonderful 10 month old neutered male. We believe him to be a Daniff (Great Dane / Mastiff). He is currently being fostered with a pack of six, including Miss Ava and gets along with everyone, has a sweet disposition, is crate trained, house broken, obedient and loving. He is not good with cats and will chase anything that runs from him in the yard. He is sweet and only wants to be near his human. Dante has an orthopedic issue that will most likely, have to be repaired, thus the reason he is being placed as foster to adopt. He has a hip that, if left alone, could shorten his life and cause him great pain as he grows and matures. He has an orthopedic consult on February 17th in Clearwater, where most, if not all of his appointments will be. His potential adopter will have to be able to transport him back and forth to his appointments and be willing to work with him through is recovery and beyond, the rescue will also assist. It will be better for him to have his own family through this process, he will be less stressed and less tempted to run, jump and play if he is able to be quiet and not surrounded by 5-8 other dogs. The rescue will provide all necessary treatment, medication and support to see him through.
