Hope - adopted
Great Dane - Female

Type: Great Dane

Age: Young

Sex: Female

Size: Giant

Color: Merle

House Trained: Yes

Health: Vaccinated

Please meet Miss Hope, a name given to her by the folks that worked tirelessly to catch her. It took a couple of weeks and an experienced trapper, but this lovely lady was finally brought to safety. She is incredibly sweet and in remarkably good condition for a dog that was running in the woods and back and forth across Rt. 41 for a couple of weeks. She warms up to humans quickly as long as she believes she is safe. She has done beautifully in rescue with all the other dogs and the permanent pack. She learns quickly, is crate trained, house broken and learning lots of new things.

Hope was known as the “Brooksville dog” for many weeks as different individuals tried to secure her. We were not involved in the pursuit or capture. We became involved as the woman that refused to give up on her searched for a rescue to take her.
