Maximus is a 4 year old Presa Canario Mastiff that is extremely well trained (he is trained in both German and English), house broken, recently neutered and fully vetted. Max was surrendered by his owner due to an unfavorable health situation the owner is facing and it had nothing to do with him. Maximus is very true to his breed, he is loyal to a fault, protective of his home and person, loving and sweet with his person and a couch potato most of the time. He gets along with all of the dogs he is being fostered with, however, he must be fed by himself as he is used to being the only dog and will not share his food. Max loves car rides and is a gentleman in the car. His perfect forever home will be with an owner with verifiable previous Presa Canario or Cane Corso experience that will provide him with a strong leader that he can respect and love. Although Maximus loves children we would prefer his home have no children or cats and preferably female dogs only.
