Type: Great Dane
House Trained: Yes
Miley came to our rescue from a rural shelter in terrible condition with another male Great Dane that is in worse condition (hard to believe). She is in the hands of a very experienced Great Dane mom that will walk her through to the life she should have always had. She wanted me to tell everyone that Miley is an absolute dream to have in your home. She is crate trained, house broken and about 6 years old. At the moment she weighs only 73 pounds, she is petite anyway, but should be between 95-100 pounds at a healthy weight. Her foster mom says she was nervous about the hurricane (they are closer to the coast) so she was cuddling with her on the couch. She tells me that the person the Miley chooses to be her furever family will be lucky indeed.
Miley was one of two Danes dumped by a woman in a rural county, the dogs were left to starve to death. The woman has since been arrested and charge with several counts of animal cruelty. In the mean time, both danes are in wonderful foster homes under the direction of our rescue. Miley is available for adoption, the male who we have named Monroe is in a foster to adopt situation. Both dogs are on the road to recovery.
Looking forward to being part of your family :)
