Please welcome Miss Lucy to flgdr. She is Roxy’s sister. It appears that the sisters had some sibling rivalry going on, Lucy has some old marks on her body that may have come from her sister. Roxy is definitely the more confident of the two. Lucy is quite thin at the moment but is in the wonderful hands of an experienced Great Dane foster and she is gaining weight and confidence. This is what her foster mom had to say about her - “She's extremely sensitive, I can tell she's been "hurt" she's underfoot and clingy, has to have her foot on me. She doesn't give kisses. Extremely cuddly in bed as well. She's just now getting so she's ok going to lay on a dog bed a while. For these reasons I think she'd do well with a stay at home person. She's had some stool and bladder incontinence so I make sure she goes out every couple hours, however she doesn't wake you to go out, so I walk her outside last minute before bedtime. She doesn't want to do her business on a lead either, take it off and stay out with her and she'll go. If I send her out with Arthur and Willow, she often comes right back in because she's looking for me. She is submissive with Willow, Willow is a submissive type too so it works well. However, she's in LOVE with Arthur and must still be loaded with hormones as she's trying to hump him, licks him all over, he occasionally grumbles at her when she does it or he gets up and moved or goes outside.
