Rocky is a very handsome 19 month old black Great Dane, that would love to find his human, a wonderful owner willing to work with him on his confidence and training. Black dogs don't photograph well because there is no play between light and shadows, but he is incredibly well muscled. He is a typical teen age Great Dane in many ways, but he hasn't had the greatest start in life. His story is like many others - buy puppy, puppy grows up and no one has time for puppy so adolescent dog gets shuffled to the back yard living alone. He is not good with children, the neighborhood kids teased him and made him nervous, he is not aggressive toward them, they just scare him and he will move away from them. He is high energy, as most teenagers are and would do best with one or more dogs to play with, teach him how to dog and help guide him to adulthood. He will be an incredible companion for the person willing to give him a chance and work with him.
