Sometimes it's actually a good thing for dogs to stay in rescue a little while. Such is the case with Miss Rosie. Now 14 months old, we have learned more about her and she is learning more from being part of the pack. We know she can not be placed with cats, chickens, etc. she has a high prey drive. She will need owners with large breed experience willing to work with her to further build her confidence and training is an absolute must. Miss Rosie would be an ideal dog in any of the following circumstances: 1) Only dog - she has proven to be reactive to dogs that approach her in a threatening manner or in an attempt to correct her behavior. 2) She could be placed with submissive dogs or mellow confident dogs with supervision and training from her owners until stability of the pack is established. 3) In a Great Dane savvy home experienced with dogs needing confidence and willing to continue to work with her. She is crate trained, house broken, spayed, UTD on vaccines and ready to go to her forever home. This beautiful girl will be an outstanding companion for the right owners.

Hi Future Parent!

Well Hello! My name is Rosie and I love to run, play and lean on people. They tell me I'm a very pretty girl and will grow up to be a stunning lady. My foster home has several other dogs, but I miss my sister, she left the other day and hasn't come back. My foster tells me I will soon find my forever family that will love me and take me home with them and I won't ever get left again. I am anxious to learn the things I need to know to please my forever family, but need someone that can spend time with me and have patience. Really can't wait to meet you!
