Forgiving is the nature of dogs, we all know that. This elder statesman is no exception. Thor is a 10 year old Great Dane that was surrendered to us recently. He is a very sweet guy and is with an experienced foster mom. This is what she had to say: "After a very rough week for the rescue. I thought I would share some happy news. Thor is starting to feel and move better! He started out both physically and emotionally broken but he's on the road to recovery. He has actually started trying to play. Today for the first time he did his best to play in the backyard with his foster brother and the big red ball. He's able to take very short walks which is a long way from barely able to stand without his legs shaking and giving out. He went from refusing to look at anyone to actually giving a few kisses here and there. He's trying really hard and it's wonderful to see him getting better a little more each day."
