Well we are just running over with gorgeous female Great Danes! Please welcome Wilma to our rescue family. Wilma was most likely dumped in a rural area. She waited in the same spot for days for her owner to return - they never did. She had to be trapped and once safe the proper protocol was followed and she was taken to the local animal control for processing and stray hold. No one came looking. Wilma is young, probably a year old or so, but she has already had a litter of pups. She arrived in rescue from the very loving person that trapped her and kept her at her home during her stray hold. This wonderful woman bathed her, trimmed her nails, cleaned her ears and gave her as much love as she wanted. It was difficult for her to part with her, but she knows Wilma will get a wonderful home through the rescue. We don't know much about her other than she is scared, sweet as can be and needs to gain weight. Wilma will be spayed and fully vetted prior to being adopted to her forever home, but don't wait, if this pretty girl pulls at your heart strings get your application in now.
